Ja živim sama već skoro godinu dana, razvila sam naviku da kod kuće ne nosim odeću. Uglavnom idem samo u donjem vešu, а ponekad i gola, pogotovo posle kupanja. Dok me niko ne vidi svejedno mi je, što da prljam odeću kod kuće? Na ove vrućine posebno prija, mada ni zimi često ne nosim odeću.
Zanima me šta mislite o tome i da li praktikujete il jok?
Considering I'm here, clearly I like fall, but being Serbian I feel autumn is very Americanised online. Here in Serbia we don't really do American pumpkin pies ( we eat Balkan style pies), pumpkin spice lattes or cinnamon rolls. It's actually walnuts for me, I have a huge walnut tree in front of my house and we'd pick it all through autumn. Mom collects walnuts to dry them for the Christmas cake - we celebrate Christmas in January here, and there is this special Christmas "cake" we make with raisins and walnuts. It's called česnica if you wanna look it up.
Another autumn activity here is making ayvar, sauce made of red bell peppers, popular in Balkan. It takes time to prepare so it can be a whole lil family event in the backyard. People usually make it in late September or early October, together with zimnitsa (pickled vegetables) and cooking jams, most popular being plum jam. Another food related activity is picking grapes and making homemade cookies and pies.
I can't really name any specific holidays we associate with autumn, although traditionally autumn is the ideal time for weddings, because all field work is done and there is time for rest and fun.
So yeah, Serbian autumn is very much about making winter food, collecting grapes and apples, weddings...
What is it from your culture and upbringing that you associate with autumn the most?
Žene, da li biste prihvatile da imate dete sa uzorkom iz banke sperme, dakle da nemate pojma ko je otac deteta i moguće ga nikad i ne upoznate? Ono, želite dete, možda malo teže ide naći partnera, pa odete lepo u banku sperme i pozajmite gen. materijal i tjt? Znate samo neke određene stvari kao što su neke genetske karakteristike i zdravstveno stanje donora.
