This is my rant post for nursing certifications. Nearly $400 for initial BCEN certification is insane and a total money grab from these certifying bodies. Plus eventual renewal fees and associated CEUs and also costs for licensure renewal that is essentially a "licensure tax". add multistate licensure and multiple certifications in there and there goes the vacation fund. Looks like more overtime for me.
