Windproof diy solutions for oktava mics

Hey everyone,
So i have a pair of oktavas and want to do some windproofing so i could use them outside, even with a bit of wind. Has anyone done some simple and effective diy windproofing solutions and would be willing to share?
Best wishes to you all

How to improvise sets

Hey guys, for those who play live improvised sets of dance music - how do you go about it, what modules or what techniques make it possible in your case?
I’ve always played ambient live and the thing i love the most is that I don’t need to spend hours to prepare for a set but instead can go wherever music takes me. And for this same reason i was avoiding dance music - feels like you have to prepare live sets to perform. I own digitakt so that for example feels very improvise unfriendly - I would be very intimidated going on stage with an empty project loaded.
For modular since it can be more hands on, i believe you can get away without prepping, and that’s the part i want ti avoid, therefore wondering how are you guys doing it?
I’ve been following un/ser live sets, they’re amazing and dude improvises everything. So that led me to believing it IS possible.
Share your thoughts!🙏

help me say goodbye to some modules

so, posting opposite of "help me fill the space in the rack": help me get rid of modules. So the thing is that over the years I got quite some modules (for a sane person at least :D ) and was making different arrangements and what not and settled up for one ambient oriented case that I am really loving

and then have a bunch of modules that I was trying to arrange into another 7u case to have techno direction case.

I know I lack drums and what not, but I have digitakt for that so weren't into acquiring drum modules so far.

The thing is that all the modules I have I really like, it's been a year and I went through different setups for the techno case, but nothing really stuck and at this time I don't want to buy more, I want to sell out what i really don't need (that's what i need help with - I have hard time saying bye to any of these :D )so that I could make a more focused case, lock in and actually start making music rather than rearranging the case all the time.

I really enjoy Luigi Tozzi type of techno (chill, hypnotic, i guess?), not the raw or hard styles...

So help a lost soul to shed old skin to get some fresh air into my head again!

Thank you! :}

Looking for artists with small techno racks

Hey all,
Recently i realised all the artists that play techno, that i enjoy listening to, have rather big racks for live shows: two cases of 6 or 7u, plus some external devices, maybe external sequencer too. And since I am always trying to squeeze in everything into the least possible space (normal sized modules tho, can’t enjoy pico or 2hp stuff), i thought I will ask for some recommendations of artists who play techno (hypnotic direction, maybe minimal too) who use max one case plus one device. Looking for getting ideas how to not go big with a setup. I have also checked mylarmelodies videos on small setups, but those somehow don’t scratch the itch. So please, share your favourite artists with small setups (or drop some of your music and a setup!)
Peace

Why only WMD is having mixers without ins/outs cluttering the controls?

I was looking for a mixer that would have ins/outs on the side and then have all the controls available without cable mess. And i only found WMD having such layout, why? Do other manufacturers think it’s cool to dig your way to the controls or is that some wiring problem that no one except WMD found the solution for?..
