North Carolina moves to eliminate a useless pollution test in annual automotive safety inspections. Redditors start planning for new hole in ozone layer.

As an aside: my favorite was a Narnia meme someone posted about a new coal/natural gas fired unit Duke Energy opened in Cliffside (town right next to my hometown).

These people couldn’t point out Cliffside on a map, much less have any idea of how these plants are required to have gigantic catalytic converters and scrubbers.

And yet these buffoons think that a $15 ozone test is going to be the end of the world.

The only reason I keep visiting Reddit is because these people vote and I need to stay on top of what I’m up against.
