This will be my first trip. My girlfriend has been several times. We haven’t over scheduled our trip, and I love a go with the flow, wander around approach to seeing a city. One of our favorite things to find is a local bar that is authentic to the area, not Instagram worthy and caters to professional drinkers. I’d call it a dive bar, but is there something that is a Roman equivalent? Apertivo culture is appealing. Something a bit rougher around the edges…? Thank you for any suggestions.
