Any suggestions on how to fix this, and what it would cost ?

My 1999 528I 140k miles

Engine is well maintained as in it was owned by a bmw tech and had chains and Vanoss redone at 120k miles, it now seems to have a vacuum leak due to idle bounce when it's cold ogage. [Below freezing] when it is starting to warm up then goes away once at top of blue temp gauge.

AC and cooling unit was completely re done

What would you price this at? Also what would you have to say about the rust on the rear panel and underneath jack point? Is it salvageable or should I move onto the next e39.
