Heavy frame repair?
Hi everybody!! I have a rather large mirror that seems to have lost its war against gravity. Thankfully the kitty is okay and nobody else seems to have been home when it happened, but I now don’t know what to do with this massive hunk of glass or the frame. Is it repairable for a novice with access to hardware stores, or would this be something I should hire a pro for? Or is it just time and I need to give it a Viking funeral ahaha. Thankfully it’s not sentimental, $20 from a yard sale, but it is one of the first pieces of decor I ever bought for my condo and so I’m fond of it. Also some bits of the bottom left corner broke off, probably when the hook gave up the ghost.
Picture 1 is how I found it, 2-3 are the two pieces it broke into, and then the close-ups are of the corner joins and the damage from the drop. The last pic is from when I bought it.
Any help is appreciated!! Lmk if you need better pics, I tried lol.
