Gamecube Collectors edition MM always crashes...
Well I give up once again. History repeats itself just like this 3 day cycle fuck fest... I grew up playing the collectors edition on gamecube and have never been able to beat Majoras Mask due to the game always crashing around the same point in the game. I beat Ocarina on it and never had any save or crash issues. As a kid I gave up playing this version of MM because I lost a bunch of progress and lost the will to continue. Now once again it has happened and I really don't want to keep trying. I mustered up the courage and the excitement to finally beat this cursed game recently after watching the Spicy playthrough. Of course I know what happens in the end but I have always felt like a fake fan for never being able to beat it even though its literally not my fault the game keeps crashing on me. I love this game and have issues with it that everyone has already talked about. My only problem is that this version on GC is just unplayable. The minor lag and music glitches don't take me out of the experience but the game crashing every time I'm trying to upgrade the sword and get to the great bay temple is atrocious. If I have to fight goht again im going to fucking kill myself. What should I do? I feel crazy going through this experience again. I was literally just about to get all the Zora eggs and it froze on me. Is my copy cursed? I guess I gotta do more saves and take one thing at a time but damn it takes forever. For sure not doing all masks in on this copy of the game. Maybe someday Ill get an N64 and play the OG.
