Goodbye MIDI Hello Tubes
I've used the HX Stomp and a MIDI controller for years and loved it. But recently, I was so tired of menu diving, making presets, and spending more time fiddling than playing. So, I started looking for other options that covered amps and an audio interface.
Long story short, my local guitar store showed me the ZEQD-Pre and this thing sounds SO GOOD clean or cranked. I traded a few pedals and and got a few new ones and could not be happier with the sound and simplicity of the new board. I had to get a separate audio interface, but with the trade in credit they gave me, I spent way less in total than I thought.
The ZEQD-Pre makes my actual amp come to life, gives me a headphone option, lets me play my amp while going to front of house at church, and still lets me practice/record from my computer speakers.
Can't say enough good things about the ZEQD-Pre.
