Taylor gs mini help?

Guitar newbie, signed up for a 6 week guitar class and we have 9 hours of class per week. I have a Taylor GS mini as my main guitar but after doing some research I am wondering if I should switch? I think my hands are too big for the fretboard and also I don’t want to get used to playing a not-normal sized guitar. Also, the 13 gauge is so painful, but the company recommends sticking with that gauge for this model. I’m having trouble hitting the notes and dont want to form bad habits by contorting my hands and wrist etc. What do you suggest? Restring with something lighter? Stop by a guitar shop and get a different cheaper guitar that’s normal sized? Thanks in advance 😭

Going into second year and need a new plan

Just finished my first year teaching 6th grade ancient civ (and ela) in CA. I struggled so much and got bogged down in deciphering standards and searched everywhere online for resources bc I didn’t like the textbook and it ultimately made me lose my mind lol.

Next year will definitely need restructuring😅😅
Has anyone done the Reading Like a Historian summer PD and would you recommend it? I’m trying to decide if it’s worth paying out of pocket.
