Located in socal. Wondering if there are any localish recommended breeders. Willing to travel if necessary for better recommendations. Not trying to buy here, just wanting some insight as will be my first sheltie. Have had non pure aussies in the past.

Wanting to run fcat, asfa lci, possible dock diving (not required), trick dog, akc herding trials and showing. Preferably would like to not have a co ownership, but am willing to do so if required to do so for reputable breeder. Preference is a definitely female. (merle, sable, or bi blue) color is definitely not a make or break especially if it means being connected with the best fit. Any help is greatly appreciated.
