I don’t stay up to date with stalker 2 news or keep tabs on the discord or really dive into what the community is complaining about so I had no idea that this false leak was even a thing.

After Molt admitted they overhyped 1.9 I just figured “yeah, I’ll believe it when I see it” kind of thing. Not gonna glaze GSC and I’m not gonna bash them, I’m just indifferent. I still love playing the game with mods and enjoy what our little subreddit is becoming but I thought I’d ask you guys. How are you guys feeling about everything?

Alright, I know some people are still having some issues with their mods and it just goes to show you that any outcome is possible. Right now, I’m using like 35 mods and all of them together create a very specific and niche type of playthrough. I realize that some, if not most, people don’t want to play with mods like that so I’m putting together a sort of “most bang for your buck” mod list. You’ll still probably get the conflict message, but these mods should play very well together. If you want a “set it and forget it” mod list, this is the one I would use.

You can play with these through a story run or if you want a freeplay style run, install Zone Unchained alongside these ten mods.

But this list of mods shouldn’t give you any problems. Also, if you play on Master difficulty then I also recommend UnMaster by sdwvit but if you play on Veteran or lower, no need to worry about it.

In regards to OXA Core, you can absolutely install it alongside this list but I didn’t add it into the list itself because of the few bugs that come along with that mod. Mainly, the “broken suppressors” since I think that confuses a lot of people and makes them think the entire mod is broken. I use it with not many issues, but still, I left it off since this is supposed to be a “reliable and stable” mod list.

These are all the mods I use in story mode, but when I want a freeplay exploration type adventure, I add on Zone Unchained by Greshnyy and it’s really cool.
