Really impressed how PDX has the arena rocking and how quickly they’ve demonstrated it’s clearly a WNBA market. Excited for the Storm to have a true natural rival, and when these teams are competitive these matchups will be awesome.
Watching the Dallas sub go into a mini melt about their coaches comments and people mentioning Li’s dnp and how Chinese Federation might try to influence her getting out of there. Dawned on me we traded Li over there for the 2nd round pick that we used to get Flau’jae. We got Li in the Jewell Loyd deal. Essentially traded Jewell and 2027 2nd rounder for Dom, Flau’jae, and Taina Mair. Nice work Talisa 🫡
I thought Grace gave very quality minutes yesterday. Plays with pro pace, defends effectively on the perimeter man 2 man, doesn’t appear sped up, and fluid athletically. When Awa is here and Ezi is back it will get crowded, but if she keeps playing like she did yesterday it will be hard to not find her minutes.
