Ink Paper

My main machine is a Mac. So this theme was initially built for my personal use and then published in the community. Then someone reported a bug on Windows 11. Upon checking it there, many elements—such as custom split resize handles and card backgrounds—are incorrect, displaced, or not aligned with macOS standards. Today, I have started rebuilding the theme from scratch, and I am very pleased with what I have achieved so far. Screenshots are from windows 11.

Ink Floating TOC (Update v1.0.7)

What's New v1.0.7

✨ Enhancements

  • Dynamic Tooltip Tinting: Tooltip backgrounds and borders now elegantly blend with the active heading's specific color.
  • Improved Touch Ergonomics (Tablet & Mobile): Expanded the invisible touch area for scrolling on tablets, making navigation much smoother.
  • Expanded Tap Targets: Increased the tap area around the bars in Tablet to make selecting headings easier and more reliable.
  • Reduced Tooltip delay.

🐛 Bug Fixes

  • Startup Visibility: Fixed an issue where the Floating TOC would not render when launching Obsidian for the first time. The plugin now reliably hooks into file-open and layout-change events to ensure the TOC appears immediately on boot.

🗑️ Removals & Cleanup

  • Removed Alt+Click (Desktop) & Triple Tap (Tablet): These interactions were removed to simplify the controls. Since the plugin already provides a dedicated settings option to permanently hide any specific heading levels (H1 through H6) from the TOC, these manual hide/toggle gestures were redundant.

Ink Paper (Beta testing)

With the recent update to Obsidian v1.13.x, several significant changes have been introduced. I am planning to initiate a beta test for the theme to ensure the final public release is both stable and fully cross-platform. I would appreciate your feedback on this. Floating TOC ( Tablet)

Implemented this feature for Tablet also

  1. Single tap to focused Heading (Click for Desktop)
  2. Double tap to Collapse the Heading ( ⌘/Ctrl + Click for Desktop)
  3. Triple tap to to hide the Sub Heading ( ⌥/Alt + Click for Desktop)
