Imagine me at 3:30 AM
Took my Versys X300 off road at night to a usual construction spot ripping it at 3:30 AM. I see a log that’s new I jump it and rip it with my 50/50 tires. I come up to a corner there’s a concrete barrier (that’s new and I’m going fast af). To the left is river to the right is the concrete barrier I’m coming in hot. I hit the front breaks and decide to not hit the rear breaks. I slip the rear a bit in the dirt and slam the right foot pedal at about 15 mph into a concrete barrier. Completely stops the bike and stalls it. I had my toes only on the right foot pedal. If I was riding sloppy the rear break lever would have sliced my toes off on this crash. I was hella pissed till I realized this crash could have only one working foot with toes on it. This pic is AFTER I bent the stuck rear break forward to get out of locked up. It was stuck to the right pedal. The crash bent the frame of the right pedal look at the pics. I’m happy I was able to ride home I’m hella shook af. Proper foot position will save you from altering your life in the wrong direction.
