Used motorcycle helmets

I'm in the NT (Australia) and have given up riding. Have two motorcycle helmets in decent condition (never been in a crash) but about 10 years old now. Can't resell them due to safety laws - any other ideas of what to do with them?

Hoyas in water

Will hoyas thrive in water jars inside or should I put in soil and let it climb somewhere outside? It was previously outside but outgrew the pot it was in and I have no other space for it on the balcony - but if it will do better outside I'll find some way to make it work.
