Is there a debating club or competition for adults in Tasmania?

After the Beaker Street debate last night I've been inspired to do some debating again, but can't find a club or competition to join.

My friends and I did debating all throughout high school and had the best time, and I became a much better public speaker and conversationalist because of it. I'd love to try the old school debating competitions again, with the timer and the rebuttals and everything. It's nostalgic for me and I enjoy the competitive element.

I've had a search around and couldn't find anything suitable. I'm not as interested in broader public speaking (Rostrum or Toastmasters) and I've been out of school for years (Tasmanian Debating Union).

Anyone know of anything suitable?
