Forza Horizon 6 Steam/Xbox cloud sync issues

Anyone having cloud sync problems when switching from their Deck to their PC?

I always shut down the game entirely on Deck and exit to Steam menu before launching on my PC. I played it for about 4 hours last night on my Deck and I don't want to lose my progress!

Any advice welcome
