Botched toilet install

Check out this mess we purchased.

270mm clearance in front of toilet. Whilst it's possible to sit on the toilet with legs spread, initially getting on the throne is surprisingly challenging. I believe it's called a wall facing squat challenge.

Seems like the only options are to remove the shower screen and replace with a curtain or rotate the toilet which would involve a core drill through the floor.

Any other ideas?

Edit: Toilet waste goes out through the wall, they installed it like this so they wouldn't have to put the waste downwards through the slab. It was a cheap "reno" done to sell the house as only other toilet is outside dunny.

Deck before/after

Hi all,

I built this deck in my garden in 2022, boards are treated pine, joists H3 and posts H4. I put some form of oil on it but can't remember what it was. Location Sydney, NSW.

Anyway, in 4 years most of the boards have rotted through, even some of the H3 joists have completed rotten. Posts seem to be ok. Parts of the deck are close to the ground but most has about 400mm clearance.

Any ideas on rebuilding? Posts seems to be ok so I could try again with steel joists and hardwood/accoya. Or maybe rip it all up and put a slab down first and deck on top of that.

Thanks
