I just bought a pin secondhand from an online seller, and was surprised to find that there’s a good amount of discoloration on the back. I’ve never seen this before on an enamel pin, but I’m not a huge collector, so I’m not sure if this is oxidation or simply the colors of the enamel showing through the metal. The darkest spot on the back corresponds to a small gap in the design (as indicated by the red arrows), leading me to suspect oxidation/rust. I wanted to check if this was normal before leaving a review. The pin was advertised as ‘Like New’ and no photos of the back were included in the listing.
