Happy birthday to me. Today I’m pleased to finally release my 12th full-length album as DVS NME, titled Ghost Stories.

For the last eight years, I’ve kept up the tradition of releasing one LP every May 14th. My yearly marker, a way to document where I’m at creatively and give some kind of structure to the passing of time.

Ghost Stories features 15 new tracks produced since last year’s ‘Simple Sabotage Field Manual’. At its core, it’s an Electro record, but there are also traces of EBM, Synthpop, Industrial, Boogie, and IDM woven throughout.

The album artwork was captured by my longtime friend Rachel (@pixelina) who has also handled the visual direction for the Post Punk Affiliated mix series over the years.

Lyrically and thematically, the album revisits some familiar anti-capitalist territory, but this one is also more inward-looking — touching on grief, guilt, isolation, anxiety, and depression.
