I've been passionate about writing music for a long time, but lately I've been wanting to see some perspective in what I'm doing. I love many genres of music and have dabbled in writing them, but I see instrumental rock as the most realistic option. The problem is, I find this music too niche and narrowly focused to make any money from. I'm thinking of finishing a few tracks and uploading them to streaming services through Distrokid, but first, I'd like to ask some advice from those who are knowledgeable in this. Because of all these thoughts, I often feel frustrated and have a hard time forcing myself to do anything.
