Lanesville UMC Experiences Horrific Damages by Flash Flood
Hello All,
I am posting on behalf of my Grandmother's church in Lanesville Indiana. On June 9th, a horrific flash flood occurred, knocking their fellowship hall 30 ft off of its foundation, the storage shed 15 ft off of its foundation, and the church itself experienced significant floodwater damage in its basement. The fellowship hall, where they held dinners and made homemade ice cream has been rendered a total loss. Several appliances, such as fridges and stoves, that they used for community dinners and ice cream socials have been destroyed. This is a small, historic church that needs help to rebuild.
