My car is in the shop with a clunking noise. I'll attach the video for fun.

From the tech: "Supercharger: Worn/damaged internal bearings - replace supercharger and reseal intake tract - $5500"

The tech also says the issue would not damage anything else.

What are the chance "worn/damaged" bearings caused debris to be sucked into the engine in either the oil or air? The tech says there were no damages but it really sounded like a lot of scraping inside of the SC.

Is the tech's confidence from the intercooler collecting any debris and that if there were inhalation of debris, I would have had other symptoms (the car feels/drives fine)?

Arrows point to two plastic flat head fasteners. I have a noise that loudest in this area. The dealership is 35 minutes away and there is a rattling noise that sounds like something is rubbing. Trying to figure out if this is a tow job or if we're still drivable.

Please pardon the video shaking. I was going to clip the video but noticed the sound quality doesn't pick up the noise as well when I stop moving.

AI says this is the evap purge valve.

But it almost sounds like a broken tensioner with a belt slapping around.

The noise was there last week but went away and came back louder.

The noise happens at idle and doesn't increase with RPM.

Thoughts?
