I just picked up my Alltrack last week. Absolutely love it. I do however want to swap the DSG paddles for something bigger. I've found several videos for how to do it on GTIs and it looks incredibly easy, just have to yank a pin out with some needle nose pliers. However, looking at the wheel on my Alltrack it seems like the plastic molding on the Alltrack wheel is different from the GTI and prevents access to the pins. From googling I come up with very little info specifically for the Alltrack.

Does anyone have any tips for replacing the paddles without entirely removing the wheel like old forum posts seem to suggest?
