Small business wallpaper installer needed advice on payment with 1099

Brought a 1099 on in dec and asked them what they pay expectations were: she said $400-500 a day. I said fine.. Though I decided on my own 50/50 because that seemed fair. I bring in work with my business.. quote, measure, back and forth with clients multiple times, schedule, confirm, collect payment..

They show up, install and leave.

Well, now they are saying 50/50 isn't fair.. and want 60/40 and 65/35 for uneasy jobs. I can't decide if it's even worth it for me to do all the work for the extra 4-5k a month for the amount of work I have to do to get the jobs to confirm.. Looking for honest feedback. On top of this I also work my own installs so I can juggling their issues when they arrise at my own installs and i'm wondering what some others would do. I talked to others and they thing 50/50 is good and even too much.. not a single installer said I wasn't being fair.

Anyone using a hybrid to tow?

Looking to potentially buy a 2012 23CB flying cloud but was wondering if anyone using any hybrid suvs to tow? The thought of getting a 4 runner or Land Cruiser and that mpg it will bring just makes me sick.

Thanks!
