Just saw another post.

But I have a US passport and my country of birth is China. Will I be denied entry?

I already have my flights booked and leaving in two weeks.

I’m giving up my Chinese passport :( but I don’t wanna go through the hassle of getting a China visa.

Would this work for transit visa?

USA (layover in Japan) -> Shanghai -> Japan.

I’m flying from Hawaii and back.. I can technically do a stop in Seoul but trying to use my miles and points.
