Is anyone finding it extra hard lately to swap with users? I continuously get an error message. My app is up to date.

Hi all, quick question.. this last week I had zero service one day and was lucky enough to get two repair jokers through a level up blue prize box. Normally I think the repair jokers are silly and pointless but I knew I wouldn’t be able to convert my steps one day so I was actually excited about it for once. When I logged in the next day I saw that the app used my last freeze ❄️to save my streak. I’m glad my streak was saved but when I emailed WeWard about why they didn’t use my joker I never got a straight answer. I thought that was the point of the repair jokers. I asked if they could use one or both of my repair jokers in lieu of taking my last freeze and they basically said that’s not how it works. I’m so confused. What is the point of the repair jokers then?
