Do we think this guy may be the kidnapper?

He fits the description and frankly we don't see a lot of background characters, especially ones with no lines. It just feels unlikely that they added background characters unnecessarily in this scene if there wasn't a secondary reason.

Even when we DO see quiet background characters, it's to show a busy place. In the background of a conversation is particularly uncharacteristic of the show. It sticks out to me, and I do wonder if he's meant to be the kidnapper. Admittedly, this takes place so many years beforehand that I may be way off base, and you'd realistically think being known to police previously would make it harder to fly under the radar.

Do we know anything about Olivia's mother?

What the title says. I was re-watching the pilot and got thinking about Guinevere and Sir Arthur having organic traits (pain, intestines, blood) and Olivia seemingly being the only person we've seen with inorganic colored eyes making her stand out. Clearly Mr. Park doesn't mind mixing the organic and inorganic in his work and it made me wonder if she has a mother at all,or if her father literally made himself an heir in like an artificial womb or something. And this is why she is so violent and her attachment is so strange, because babies initially start developing bonding attachments in utero with their mother. So she still ages and whatnot because she's still human, but corners were cut and her humanity and psyche weren't developed all the way.

I don't know, it's 2am and I've been turning it over in my head for a few hours now. Figured I'd see if maybe there is something I've missed that would point to her having a mother and me just being flat out wrong.
