Ok, so I may have lost my tiny mind a little by ordering a fourth bag since March, but I’m blaming Reddit and all the pictures I keep seeing of Jim’s bags. I came to the rep world to get a B30, and now I have 2 B30s, a Kelly Depeches 25, and my latest addition, a K28, all from
Jim! I have a serious addiction…

I reached out to Jim after seeing a number of people post about K28 Togo Retourne bags, and it swayed my allegiance from the Birkin enough to ask him for recommendations for K28 colours. Since he knows my taste already, Jim suggested a colour which shows how much he really understands this client as he recommended a) a darker neutral, and b) something in the slate/grey/greens palate that I’m obsessed with. The colour he recommended was Ardoise, and I was delighted to know this colour existed in Togo leather as I have been searching for this exact shade for the New Libris Stole in H boutiques, but it’s only available in HK 😭😭😭😭. It felt somehow right that this was the perfect colour for my K28. I love how it can look grey in some lights and green in others. It’s a wonder to someone who loves these colours as much as I do.

This beauty arrived today, and as I do with all my Jim bags, I just sat with her on my lap for a bit and stared at each tiny perfect detail, because of course all the details are perfect on his bags. I’ve actually run out of compliments to give them as he absolutely nails the packaging, the palladium hardware with its expensive lustre, the slouch on the leather, the smell of it, the stitching, and my favourite part - the foil stamps. I love them.

I’m now going to have to get my Kelly an etoupe friend, just for the symmetry of my H bag family photos. I may never stop 🤣.

As ever, dealing with Jim was simple, straightforward, and genuinely a pleasure. Still the dude.

And she’s back…again! Last review, I promise.

This is the review of my Birkin 30 Togo Retourne in Vert Rousseau with Palladium Hardware that I ordered from Jim, my third (yes, third!) bag from him, ordered even even before I’d received my second. This one was an in-stock item that I’d previously admired the colour of, and Jim was able to ship it almost immediately. I hate waiting, so it was very appealing to me to order a bag that could arrive within weeks!!

I’m in love with the colour of this bag. I’ve always been obsessed with greens and teals, but particularly these dark greens that can vary with different lighting and hardware. The depth of colour on the Togo leather is rich and vibrant, and paired with Jim’s wonderful palladium hardware, the bag has a quiet, understated luxury that is very much my style. I particularly love the palladium colour foil stamp, which stands out against the dark teal of the leather and is pressed into it at just the perfect depth. I took so many photos of this stamp that my phone’s photo album is filled with these images!

As ever, I got the full ‘Jim Experience’ - incredible quality packaging, fantastic service, and in this instance, Jim going above and beyond when Wise halted my payment to him (as I’d had 2 fairly sizeable transactions in under 2 months and they wanted to understand why), and yet he STILL shipped the bag, which arrived before he’d even received my payment. Much as I felt terrible about this, he wasn’t in the least bothered. I’m not sure any other seller would’ve trusted a buyer to do this, but that’s Jim for you! He’s the 🐐.

So that’s 3 great experiences with him and counting. I suspect I’ll be doing much more counting in the future as I’m now a bit addicted to these beautiful bags of his.

It’s me again. Not having a Reddit account for over a month means I’m behind in spamming you all with my reviews!

This is the review of my Birkin 30 Togo Retourne in Etoupe with Palladium Hardware that I ordered from Jim, my second bag from him, ordered at the same time as my Kelly Depeches 25. Something this special takes time to make, and I was warned by Jim it would take some time - I was prepared to wait…

…and it didn’t disappoint! I think I spent the first hour or so just staring at it from different angles, not to look for flaws, but to take in how lovely it was. It’s a beautiful weight, and the leather has that perfect richness and veining that I was hoping for, with a perfect match for the etoupe colour of the original. As I noted in my last review, the wonderful smell of the leather is something very notable in Jim’s bags, and each bag I’ve had from him has had this. As usual, the packaging was a huge part of the luxurious feel of the whole experience, so much so that I didn’t even want to open it (well, nearly!).

But back to the bag itself - I’m a huge palladium hardware fan, despite being a rose gold jewellery wearer, as there’s just something about the gleam of it that draws my eye on these bags. I also love how it cools the brown tones in etoupe and brings out the greys, and Jim’s palladium is particularly expensive-looking, in my view, which all adds up to this bag just looking the part of the premium product that it is.

I’m over the moon with this bag (it’s a work of art) and with my entire rep-buying experience, all of which is down to dealing with Jim, who is a delight. He’s a dude.

I’m pretty new to the world of reps in the last 5 months, and it really has been an anxiety-inducing journey so far. I joined Reddit to find a trustworthy seller of high-tier Hermes rep bags, and what I found was a minefield of misinformation, and some downright shady behaviour from so many sellers passing themselves off as genuine consumers in subs. I felt really confused and unsure how to trust anyone with my money, so I read every review I could find across multiple subs, and based on what I saw of the bags themselves in photos, I contacted an individual who had posted a number of reviews about a particular seller’s bags to ask for his number - the man with 3 letters in his name. Yes, I ordered from HE WHO SHALL NOT BE NAMED!! I ordered from Jim. In the months that followed I had my Reddit account hacked (edhdgirl), lost all of my content, comments and karma (as well as being accused in another sub and post of being paid by Jim) and am now having to start again, so will of course once again be accused of having no Reddit history here and of being a Jim minion, but whatever you read and choose to believe, please know that I am a genuine customer and am not being paid in any way for this review. I’m posting it because I’ve had multiple good experiences with this seller and I am very happy with the quality of his bags.

I broke the first rule of rep club with Jim and ordered 2 higher priced items in one go. What can I say? I’m impulsive! Then all I saw every day after that on Reddit were consistent attacks on Jim that got to the point of making me super anxious at first, but then after a while made me realise that perhaps there was a reason so many subs have gone after him, and that maybe I’d picked the right seller after all…
Well all of my anxieties were put to rest and my instinct that Jim would deliver on a high quality bag was confirmed when my first order from him arrived - the Kelly Depeches 25 in Vert Mangrove with palladium hardware.

I realise I’m going to sound like a gushy Jim fangirl (not even sorry!), because that’s exactly what I am right now. I am a hard to please, fussy McFusspot as I have diagnosed OCD, but I’m honestly speechless about the quality of the bag I received from him. I knew I was going to enjoy the packaging and unboxing as he’s known for this, but didn’t expect to receive a service that I imagine to be indecipherable versus authentic. It’s incredible. And then the bag. What can I say? I really don’t feel that words will be enough to describe how happy I am with it. It’s absolutely stunning. The leather is butter-soft, the hardware looks exquisitely expensive, it smells wonderful, the touret has a beautifully smooth and solid turn mechanism to it that speaks to quality materials, and just everything about the craftsmanship is superlative. I’m so, so, so happy with it. I’m not even sure my photos are doing it justice as the colour changes depending on its surroundings, but always there is that bright and crisp gleam of the expensive-looking palladium hardware, which I’m so glad I chose as it complements the green of the leather so well. I went into town today, a town where many have authentic Hermes bags, and saw a fair few people checking it out as it just looks so good. I doubt anyone would ever be able to tell this is a rep, not that I’d care either way as it was very much about how I would feel about the quality of the bag that mattered to me above all else, and top quality is what I have received.

Then we get to Jim himself and his customer service, which I have to mention because it’s just as good as his bags. He’s the loveliest, kindest and most transparent seller I’ve dealt with so far, a true pleasure to chat to. He’s kept me updated at all times on my orders, and responds no matter what time of day I message him. The man is a workaholic and is always on hand for his clients’ needs. When I asked him for a strap for the Depeches to wear it cross-body, he looked into it, recommended the exact perfect length for my height, and when I asked how much I owed him for this extra item, he threw it in for free as a goodwill gesture since I’d already ordered 2 bags. THAT is customer service. He’s a top bloke, and I look forward to ordering yet more items from him. I also ordered Birkin 30 Togo retourne in etoupe with this original order, and then another Birkin 30 in Vert Rousseau separately, and will post my separate reviews on these also. I’m a very happy H-loving lady.

Next on my list is a Kelly 28 retourne in Ardoise Togo with palladium hardware, and I also want this same Kelly Depeches 25 but in black Niloticus croc and palladium, as I’ve seen Jim’s version of this and it’s gorgeous. Will have to save up for this one though! These bags will, without a shadow of a doubt, be ordered from Jim. He has won a loyal customer in me.
