I’m currently in the Ibew Electrical union and debating on leaving for trucking…
I’ve had my license over 2 years I have about 8 months driving experience in total and thinking about going back to trucking since work is slow is it worth getting back into trucking and starting from zero or just stick it out where I’m at?
I’ve only been in the ibew for about 4 months and only worked 3 months I’ve been off since there’s no work and I don’t think I can keep waiting while my bills keep piling up

I know this is for applicants but I cant seem to post on the apprentice subreddit because of the age of my account but anyways Im a first year apprentice at ibew local 441 I got injured recently at work by some idiot who was not following proper protocol and to be fair I should of been aware of my surroundings but I was locked in doing a task and somehow still managed to get messed up with that being said I don’t want to jeopardize my career but the company I work for is not handling this injury like I would’ve expected and still wants me to work while I’m on restrictions from my medical provider and I’m not the guy to go telling but what should I do in this situation? Any advice is appreciated
