CW: kitten in danger—but saved!!!

So, this happened today—my friend’s daughter Lucy, in Birmingham AL, thought she was witnessing a red tail hawk catching his breakfast squirrel only to realize the hawk was getting this baby. She was able to intervene and keep this cutie from from being breakfast.

Thankfully, he’s only got a few scratches, and was very shook up, but was warmly welcomed by Woof Ave Rescue in Birmingham will be safe and okay now.

Seems only fitting to name him Hawk.
