Just found out why the previous owners had so many rugs in the garage

First big rain and the garage is damp. The driveway slopes straight toward the door like it was designed that way. Looking at NDS trench drains vs some of the ACO stuff.

Starting to realize those rugs weren’t for storage... they were basically flood control. Welcome to homeownership, I guess! Anyone else only realize their garage has drainage issues after the first heavy rain? Did you end up fixing it yourself or bringing someone in?

Hey everyone, I’ve been having a small issue with my car lately—it’s not anything major (no warning lights), but there’s a slight noise and it just doesn’t feel as smooth as before.

I’ve done basic stuff like checking fluids and tire pressure, but I’m not super experienced with cars so I don’t want to mess anything up.

Do you usually try to diagnose things yourself first or just take it to a mechanic right away? Trying to avoid unnecessary costs but also don’t want to ignore something important.
