I try to use my best gear overall. But this season I don't use my purple shields unless I play a premade trio in Cryo. Because I don't get many purples compared to last season. Last season I was using them in all my plays. I was losing them but was able to get by just killing players more often. This season... not so much.

I use all my blue shields. I die. I kill. In general, I get a lot of blues. I also get a lot of greens, which I sell or convert for Cradle. But not so many purples. In my opinion they are not an OP item but their current rarity doesn't match their power.

We were getting purple shields for completing missions last season. Maybe we were getting them for leveling up factions, which I don't remember but I wouldn't be surprised if this was true. Nowadays we don't get that much from factions or from their contracts.

Bungie really made some changes that made the game not better but worse in a lot of aspect this season. I hope they revert a lot of change made in this season.

This button is new for ranked. So it must be different than loading into Trio as solo just by turning the crew fill OFF, right? Of course it is not different. Thanks Bungie!

This issue is almost the same as loading into TRIO games when SOLO is selected. I shared 6 recordings of them in two different post. But this one is beyond stupid. Because such a SOLO button is not needed when such matchmaking option is not provided. What were they thinking?

I entered four Trio games when I specifically selected SOLO today. So I'm a little furious. Ignore my anger but don't disregard the UI and UX issues this season.

Today this happened again. It happened three times, back to back, as it did before. Loaded into Trios when Solo is selected. It is really frustrating.

It is frustrating for me and maybe for the people I'm filling with. Because today I was all going free kit. But I wouldn't use free kit if I'd play with people.

I have 6 occurrences of this issue on record now. It happened couple of times more but they weren't recorded.

Edit: Bungie added a SOLO button for ranked as if there is a new SOLO queue?! It puts players into Trios lobbies without warning. I made a post about it too.

I recorded those videos. They all happened back to back. After first incident I checked I picked SOLO, yet it put me into Trios again. And again.

I stitched the videos together because Reddit allows only one video to be posted.
