I love dogs. Husband meh dogs.

Question. Any of you out here love dogs but have a partner who not so much? Been married 30 years. Partner accepts I am a pet person so we have had many dogs. Each dog I have worked harder and harder to train so that they will be well behaves and not stress partner out. We have a big boy right now who is sweet, loving, smart, well behaved by 99% of the population. However my partner can never seem to be satisfied. Love my dog. Love my husband. Any advice from anyone who has had a similar situation?

Question re: septic leech field

We have a house in Western Washington with a gravity septic system. Our leech field is knee high in wildflowers and we are wondering if this too much vegetation for a leech field. Shasta daisies, gypsy dianthus, coneflower, lupine and others. Pictures for reference.

Edit: husband says plants are waist high.

Madrone advice

Hey arborists, we bought a house and the previous owners cut down this Madrone. The Madrone is fighting to come back. You can see the stump and now all the new branches. Should we choose one branch and prune the rest? Or is this OK to let the tree just go crazy?
