Dug 6 whole druggists today and several fragments of others. Unfortunately the environment was not kind to them and most are cracked and pinged up. Also got some other cool 1880s-1900 era items. Got a very strange clear glass log thingy that I don't know the use of.
Fantastic dig this morning. 6 embossed beers, 3 embossed sodas, local druggist, couple local milks, and some other goodies! I'm astounded with this spot, just wish it was like 10 years older. Also got a Texas soda in Illinois which is crazy.
Went back for a few hours, popped out a bunch more bottles. Got my second druggist! Super tiny local one + some other goodies.
Just dug up these two ground lip pint mason jars and was wondering the consensus on rarity. Any help is appreciated
Back to the new honey hole. Popped out a lot of sweet finds. A bit newer that I was hoping for, but some neat stuff. Some interesting jars (couple ground lip 1870s), some beers, and one local soda. Hoping for more sodas next trip out.

Dug a couple feet deeper in that test hole I dug earlier this week. Lots of broken beer bottles. Got a whole 3 piece applied top liquor bottle, couple jars, crown top beer, and broken blob beer. Finally found my first druggist too! Unfortunately it came out in two pieces, so I had to epoxy them together. Excited to go back soon
Dug a test Hole for about 30 minutes, pulled out a ton of glass. Mostly 1900-1920, hoping it gets older deeper. Gonna go back and properly dig it out later this week. Some of the bottles even had some of their paper labels!
Got into a bottle cascade after some erosion knocked down a tree. Gonna dig it out more when it cools off a bit. I really need a hutch, but the top shows that there's gotta be some nearby
Fantastic finds today. Spent 4-5 hours digging, got about 7-8' deep. Unfortunately most of the best bottles were broken and burned.
A lot of walking in the river to get to it, but worth it. Wine bottle 1890s blob beer, castoria, Pluto water, a couple misc bottles, cool rifle buttplate, and a $1 bill lol.
Went back to the dig spot (couldn't help myself). Did very well, spent about 3 hours. Got 8 keepers, including my first hand blown piece and my oldest bottle. Got a big bromo seltzer, French wine, slick booze, local beer, embossed creme jar, small fruit jar, Chicago spice jar, and an 1870s key mold Louisville tonic. Unfortunately I'm moving out of state this weekend. I'm going to try to get out there one more time.
Included a final pic of my 22 bottles I've found this week. Safe to say that I'm ecstatic with the results (about 6 hours digging).
Finally got out and dug a spot I found, safe to say it was worth it. Left about a dozen unembossed meds and beers. Finally got my first hutch too! Unfortunately it has a bad lip chip.
Some cool old bottles, great variety. Love the ball jar and small chemical bottle. Unfortunately all the embossed sodas were too far gone
