First, please pardon my ignorance, chemistry is not my strong suit. If this question is inappropriate to the group please let me know and I will remove it.

I was reading Polyurea coatings are generally immune(right word?) to bleach and/or hydrogen peroxide. But the same article also suggested Polyurea coatings are a fickle material to work with and many things can go wrong if the correct process isn't followed, or conditions for it's application are less than ideal, etcetera.

So, my questions:

1. Could an especially high concentration of bleach(12%+) and/or hydrogen peroxide have a negative effect on Polyurea?
2. Similar question but, what if the Polyurea application process and conditions were not followed to some degree, could a high concentration of bleach(12%+) and/or hydrogen peroxide have a negative effect on the Polyurea coating then?

Imperial Fists are available as a "Daily Crate" for 200 gold.

I thought I'd empty my gold reserve on the only faction I'm missing cards from. When you click on it, it appears to activate. But the game effectively locks up for several seconds and when it comes back, it doesn't take your gold and you don't get any cards.

I tried a different faction crate just to make sure all daily crates weren't broken and it worked fine.

One last finger in the eye from EG, a tease, a broken feature with no one at home to fix it. 😞

EDIT: BREAKING NEWS mathiastck pointed out that the "Special Offer" on the home page will allow you to purchase the 200 Gold Imperial Fist Crates. I don't know how long this will continue, it says 4 hours, but who knows.

I normally save my gold to use on the 100 gold standard crates so I don't pay any attention to the 200 gold "daily deal" crates. But with the game possibly coming to an end at any moment and new Terra crates never releasing I was wondering if "Imperial Fist" "daily deal" crates are in the rotation? If so, do they include the new cards?

Similarly, have the "Imperial Fist" individual cards rotated through for purchase? I don't remember seeing them. I'm thinking in the past they didn't enter the rotation until the new set crate drops, in this case Terra. Was that the case?

A see a lot of posts that bemoan Houston's woeful transportation state and I see many depressing or hopeless responses: change is impossible, Houston is and always will be a car city, you can't force everyone to abandon their car, etcetera.

The world's most famous cycling city could have gone a very different way. Post-war Amsterdam prioritized more cars and new freeways. By the 1970s cycling modal share was just a fraction of daily trips. The lesson isn't that some cities are naturally just "better suited" to cycling, it's that change is possible, and doesn't happen by accident.

Please just keep an open mind.

Why is it so common to respond with extremes?

1. Houston would be better with less cars on the road and more alternative travel infrastructure.
2. OMG! You can't force us all to ride bicycles!
3. The former(#1) doesn't imply the later(#2).

2) Every city is different. Solutions will have to be to different too.
Amsterdam has snowy Winters, some people saw that and said who in the world would bike in freezing tempertures and icey conditions. Guess what, it's common now.

Singapore has 6 million people spread over ~300 square miles, terrible traffic congestion, and had even worse heat and humidity then Houston. They are currently rated #1 in alternative infrastructure solutions.

London has 8 million people spread over ~500 square miles, terrible traffic congestion, and has ice and snow in the Winter. They are undergoing massive infrastructure impovements.

The most common work hours are still around 9-5. Cycling at 7-8am, with the breeze of moving on a bike can be quite comfortable. I'm not going to argue 5 or 6 pm is comfortable, but you're also on your way home. You can ride at your own liesure, stop when you want. It's quite do-able. And this is with hardly any supporting infrastructure. (I'm 61, in average shape and I do it.)

Hello all.

Many(most?) of us can recite by heart a littany of ongoing issues concerning HHL at present that only reinforce a pesimistic view of EG's (and maybe SF's) future.

Personally, the repetition is getting to me. I'm finding my playtime continue to drop.

I'm curious if anyone has any positive news from April or May concerning HHL and it's owners that would offer a glimmer of hope that the game may yet recover, anyone?

PS - Stating that we can still log in is an awfully low bar to cross and I wouldn't call it "news".

First, this post is not meant to be derogatory or an attempt at humor, in any way.

I've run into something I've never encountered before and the subject is sensitive. I tried some search engines for answers but they have only described the norms inside (mainland) China (from now on just "China"), not how Chinese travelers or immigrants handle things when they travel, in this case to the US. I couldn't think of another place to ask.

I've met a young professional women who recently immigrated from Harbin, China on a work visa. I've noticed a very strong odor of feces sometimes(often?) eminating from her. I've read that bidets are used in China to aid in cleanup. It's unclear to me if that is common or rare, is it dependent on city or rural living, etcetera. (Unfortunately) in the US bidets are very rare.

I'm honestly at a loss at what to do, if anything. I don't know if she has a medical issue, or if she is unsure how to approach toilet hygiene in the US without a bidet, or it is something else entirely. I plead ignorance. I tend to believe it could be (or become) a problem for her in social and professional situations here.

I was hoping someone here might be able to enlighten me as to what might be going on. Have you ever dealt with a similar issue either personally or with someone you know? She has no family in the US.

I feel bad for her, but even thinking about how or whether to broach the subject with her makes me extremely uncomfortable. The easiest thing to do would be to do nothing, but that also feels wrong.

I would appreciate any serious knowledge or advice anyone can offer. Thank you.

At this point I almost hope they do shutdown the game. This is pretty awful. No maintenance, no communication.
