Living alone in Manchester
Hi,
I’ve worked for the NHS across different sites in Manchester (inc Whalley Range, Chorlton, Central Park and city centre) for 5 months now.
I currently commute but it’s just becoming hard work sometimes 60 mile round trips, £45 of petrol every 5-6 days etc etc.
I want to move to Manchester to a studio or one bed flat alone, ideally secure and with a parking spot. I currently take home around 2k a month so don’t want to spend more than 1500-1600 including rent, parking and bills.
I just wondered if anybody had any recommendations, a lot of the cheaper places mention rats/mice which I’m absolutely terrified of so want to go off of word of mouth rather then end up in a s***hole.
TIA😊
