Working on my dog’s reactivity training and trying to find a place with a high concentration of little critters. With her trainer, we usually go to North Point, but believe it or not, we get lucky if we see one or two squirrels/session. I’m wondering if anyone has any reccs for areas teeming with vermin😂! She especially loves (charges after) bunnies 🐰 so that would be even better. We frequent the golf course as well and never really see many there either

Was driving by the point at rise (formerly the Vy) and saw a tent up and a bunch of cop cars. Around 1230 pm on the side of the building facing Wegmans/reston pkwy. Anyone know what’s up? Some weird things have been popping up along sunset valley this week.

I want to get into swimming as a form of exercise. I’m a 24 year old woman, pretty active, and used to do swim team in middle school but then fell off the wagon. I can swim, but my form is pretty bad. I just want someone who knows what they’re doing to come tighten up my strokes, write me a workout plan, and give me feedback every so often. I don’t belong to any clubs in the area (live at one of the apartment buildings), but happy to join if necessary. If anyone knows of a local coach that could help me out, I’d appreciate it. Not sure what the going rate is, but I’m happy to pay. Thank you!

So around 745, my gf and I were biking on the WO&D between RTC and Wiehle, like we had just passed the Sunoco intersection headed towards Wiehle. An officer came running over the grass “bank” but we were pedaling so fast that we didn’t really process it. When we got to the next intersection, a husband and wife flagged us down. A police cruiser had nearly cut them off and caused an accident, pulling into the wrong lane and officers leaping out of the car (the ones we came across while we were pedaling). We pulled off for a few moments and saw four or five more cop cars arrive and a drone. They were all looking towards the golf course, but it looked like whoever they were looking for got away. I can’t find any information, and sounds like there was some kind of disturbance at Jackson’s later last night per r/nova, that was separate. This was right at dusk. Wondering if anyone has a clue!
