Can I wear this outfit casually for everyday errands, or does it feel too dressy?

Can I wear this outfit casually for everyday errands, or does it feel too dressy?

I think it works really well for both! I wore these pieces to church before with a slightly dressier look, but pairing them with my Hey Dudes makes the outfit feel much more casual and everyday. It’s an easy option for errands, running around with my kid, or just wanting to be comfortable while still looking put together. This is the Round Neck Short Sleeve Basic Work Top in the color white and size XL and the pants are the High Waisted Drawstring Pocket Wide Leg Baggy Casual Linen Feel Pants with Pockets in the color Loden Green and size XL. For reference I am about 230 lbs 5’ 0” tall and have an apron belly.

Does this romper actually look dressy enough for going out?

I originally wore this jade green romper more casually, but I wanted to see how it would look dressed up a little. I added a denim jacket and dressy sandals, and honestly I think it completely changed the look! 💚 This is the Padded 2-in-1 Romper with Pockets Easy Peezy Edition in the color Jade Green and size XL. For reference I am around 230 pounds have an apron belly and I’m 5’ 0 in.
Would you consider this “dressed up” enough for dinner or a casual date night?

Does it look polished or too sporty?

Olive + Grey
I’m really loving how versatile these High Waisted Drawstring Pocket Wide Leg Casual Linen Feel Pants in the color Loden Green size XL are. I’ve shared a little about them before, so this time I wanted to show another way I’d style them.
They’re comfortable, the length is great, I love how they have the petite length option and they’re easy to dress up or keep casual. My only personal wish would be for a little more stretch through the belly area since they’re linen.
The Cowl Neck Sleeveless Work Blouse in XL and the color Sandalwood Grey is such a pretty, easy-to-wear color and it’s really comfortable. I do wish it was a little longer and a little less clingy, but that’s definitely just my personal preference.
Finished with my Hey Dudes and overall, I really like this simple, everyday combination! 🤍 Also for reference I am size XL in these pieces and I have an apron belly and I’m roughly 230lbs and 5 ft 0in tall!

A comfy everyday outfit that can easily be dressed up or down

My honest thoughts on this Halara outfit 🤍🌿
I really liked this outfit! The white shirt is super soft and comfortable. My only personal preference is that I wish it didn’t cling quite as much—it’s not necessarily a dealbreaker, I just tend to prefer tops with a little more room and flow.
The pants are also really comfortable! Since they don’t have a ton of stretch, I think I personally would have gone up one more size so they had a little more room through my tummy area. I think that would make them even more comfortable for me.
One thing I really love about these pants is the color! I feel like this olive green is such a versatile shade that you could easily wear them in spring, summer, and fall just by switching up your top and shoes. That makes them a great staple piece to have in your closet because you can style them so many different ways throughout the year.
Overall, I really like this outfit because it feels comfortable and put-together without being too dressed up. It’s casual enough for everyday wear, but you could easily dress it up, too! I wore it just like this and brought a denim jacket with me when I went to church, which was an easy way to make it feel a little more polished.
For me, this outfit answers the question: Can you wear Halara pieces for everyday life and still feel put-together? I definitely think so! 🤍
What I loved:
✨ Soft, comfortable top
✨ Comfortable pants
✨ Love the versatile olive green color
✨ Pants can easily transition from spring to summer to fall
✨ Casual but still put-together
✨ Easy to dress up or down
✨ Great staple piece for your wardrobe
What I’d tweak:
🤍 I’d personally prefer the shirt to be a little less clingy
🤍 I’d size up one more size in the pants for a looser fit around my tummy
Overall, I think this is a really versatile outfit that I could see myself reaching for often!

Would this work for someone with my body type?

I finally tried the romper I kept seeing all over TikTok, and I have to say… I absolutely love it! 🤍This is the Padded 2-in-1 Romper with pockets Easy Peezy Edition in Jade Green Floral Yarn and the size XL! For reference I am 5ft tall and about 225lbs and I’m blessed up top and I have an apron belly.
I was honestly a little unsure how it would look on my body type when I first saw it, but I was pleasantly surprised by how comfortable and flattering I felt in it. The waistband is comfortable and forgiving without feeling too tight, which I really appreciate. The fabric is so soft and comfy and it has pockets which I love as a mom! It has shorts underneath and the back is so cute!
I also love how versatile it is! It can easily be worn as-is for a more casual look, or dressed up with a denim jacket, cute sandals, and some jewelry. I took these photos on my back deck this morning, and I’m really happy with how it looks and feels.
I’m so glad I decided to give it a try instead of just wondering if it would work for me! 🥰

Honest review of my Halara Outfit

Tried out this Halara outfit and wanted to share my honest thoughts 🤍

Wearing:
• Halara Cotton Jersey Round Neck Short Sleeve Casual T Shirt in the color Urban Mist and size XL
• Breezeful High Waisted Back Waistband Pocket Palazzo Flowy in the Petite length, size XL and color is black

I am 5ft tall and around 225 lbs and am usually a size US 16

Overall, I really like the look and how comfortable these pieces are! Also, this style is a little outside my usual comfort zone, so I was curious to try something different!

Pros:
✨ The material is soft and comfortable
✨ The pants have a really pretty flow and are easy to move in
✨ The outfit feels flattering and easy to dress up or down

Cons:
• The top is a little shorter than what I usually reach for (I personally prefer a little more length/coverage)
• I do wish the pants had pockets because that’s always a bonus for me
• One thing I’d love to see improved on the pants: adding built-in shorts or a little extra stitching/coverage underneath. Since they’re so flowy, if they catch on something or get brushed the wrong way, there’s a chance of more showing than intended 😂

I’m usually someone who looks for comfort + practicality in clothes because I’m a mom of a toddler, so those little details matter to me!

Overall, I think they’re really cute and I love the style — just sharing my honest experience for anyone else considering them 🤍

(Size reference: 5’0, around size 16, wearing XL)

I love these shorts so much I bought a second pair

As a mom, I really appreciate the built-in lining and all the cute color options. This loka blue is one of my favorite colors for summer—it feels bright, fun, and goes with so many things.

They’re incredibly soft and comfortable, and they’ve worked really well for me as a curvier woman. I haven’t had any issues with chafing, which is a huge win, and the high waistband stays in place without feeling tight or restrictive.

I loved them enough to buy a second pair, and I’m actually wearing the black pair today! They’ve quickly become one of my favorite things to throw on during the summer. For reference these are the Softly Zero Airy Super High Waisted 2-in-1 Cool Touch Yoga Shorts 7” in the size XL and in the color Loka Blue and I am 5ft tall and about 225lbs!
