My favorite pyrex plates. These are from a WW2 purple heart veteran.

These are probably my favorite pyrex plates. These 14 belonged to a man who served in WW2 and was a purple heart veteran. He passed away in 2019, and his daughter sold me these. I feel honored to have these.🩵Now I have 22 of these in my collection.

Strategic Air Command

Pyrex Strategic Air Command dishes. These were made in the late 1940s and early 1950s to supply the newly formed Air Force bases during the early Cold War era. The Strategic Command controlled the nation's strategic bombers, intercontinental ballistic missiles and reconnaissance aircraft.

Canadian party pans, 080.

Completed my stack of Canadian pyrex 080s! They were called party pans in Canada. This original ad is from 1954. In the US we had pink and green 080s. The white is a bit of a mystery to me because it isn't shown in ads, but is stamped Canada on the bottom.

Canadian exclusives 🙂

These 2 pyrex pieces were made in the US but sold in Canada only. The first casserole was sold in the US with an olive green pattern instead of gold. It also came with a metal cradle instead of a walnut tray. The second dish was sold in Canada in gold and yellow. I think it also came with a walnut tray which I don't have. In the US they were sold in gold and blue and black and white with a cradle.
