I'm sure I don't have to explain why I'm asking, it's that time of year again!

Even better would be a cookbook with a courgette chapter.

Some good ones I know are Ottolenghi's courgette fritters and Letitia Clark's zucchini ginger cake. Have also made a twist on shakshuka.

Cooking, baking and trying new recipes is usually a passion of mine, but I'm going through a phase where deciding what to make for dinner each night feels like a chore. If you've experienced a similar rut, which cookbook got you excited about being in the kitchen again?
