This is a very silly post. But does anyone know if this watermelon is ripe?
I have no idea what kind it is and absolutely no idea if it’s ripe.
A week ago it had a white spot on the bottom but now the whole thing is your typical watermelon color
I’m writing this as mostly a vent. A little bit as a what should I do post.
A few months ago an extended family member reached out to me telling me they were struggling to afford childcare and since I have some free time asked if I could watch their toddler son few times a week. Usually it’s 2-3 hours. I agreed because I figured they could use help. I asked for 25-30 dollars a day. They said it was too much and said 20 was what they could afford. I agreed without complaint.
However, since then they have started making some purchases that I would normally classify as being more luxury in nature and I’m feeling like I was misled. And when I say luxury I mean like cosmetics procedures and cosmetic home repairs.
I have tried to stay calm but taking this position has caused stress. I watch the kid and immediately have to go to my own job. And sometimes they cancel out of nowhere so that measly hope of 20 dollars I was looking for isn’t even an option. I mean I was very in it for the money but I did need a side hustle this year to help pay smaller some bills.
