September 11-13
Hi all! We will be traveling to Italy for two weeks from on August 31 - September 13. This will be our second trip to Italy. We are attending the Formula 1 race at Monza. We are visiting Venice, Milan (with a stop in Verona for a half day), Bologna (including trips to Modena/Maranello, Parma, and Ravenna), and Rome.
We were in Rome a few years ago and saw all the “big” tourist attractions including the Vatican, Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, Jewish Ghetto, and Spanish Steps.
For this trip, we only have two days in Rome. We are staying near Piazza Navona, so we will be pretty centrally located in the city. We have already booked a sunset golf cart tour for the first night, the 11th, and the Pantheon for the second morning, the 12th. We leave early on Sunday the 13th so that day really doesn’t count as a day to do anything.
Can anyone recommend anything else for us to do while we’re in Rome? Preferably something we can do on the afternoon of the 12th.
