Can someone tell me how to get my nails healthy? Warning ⚠️ scary nail pic!

I used to get my nails done as a way to stop biting them. Since I stopped they are worse than ever and I pick and bite them without even noticing. Any suggestions would be much appreciated!

Hi! I’m a fledgling sleep and circadian rhythm scientist interested in sleep in women with endo (fyi, I am a woman with endo). I have resources to conduct a small pilot study which includes an interview and wearing a watch to collect sleep data. Out of curiosity, would you do this study if I had no money to pay you? I’m not seeking participants just trying to get a feel for how you would react to someone approaching you with no money to pay you. I’m trying to get funds to pay people for their time but this is a bad time for scientific research and endo was already poorly funded prior to this administration.

Edit: this would include 1 hour long interview, and 1 week of wearing a watch and tracking sleep wake times and any noted difficulties during sleep, and some brief questionnaires (3 total).

Edit 2: Medications, past medical and surgical histories, random symptoms that may or may not have been dismissed by doctors (I personally have a ton of these). This would be if I have to control for certain variables. The main thing I’m interested in are the sleep and symptom diaries, and the actigraphy (sleep/activity patterns). I personally am easily exhausted. But I’m just trying to tell you these are things I personally experience and have read others may too. We have very little data around the day to day symptoms of this condition. It’s a systemic problem. There are so many symptoms and we have little documentation or quantifications of any of them. This would be one step towards documenting them.
