I cut the top of my finger off.

29F, 57kg, take OCP and Tyvense.

When I was 14, I closed a heavy door on my finger. It slices the finger tip off, exposing bone. I had surgery to shave off some of the bone and close over the flap of skin. Not too sure on details as I was young. I was not meant to have a nail growing, and saw a plastic surgeon when I was 16 who said to leave it. The nail I have now grows inwards on the sides and curves downwards when it grows out. It is a thick nail.

I'm hoping to get a plastic/reconstructive surgeons input regarding the bulbousness of my finger. Would it be possible to make it more finger looking?

The sensation in most of my finger is normal, but from the top joint upwards has a pins and needles like sensation in it when I touch something.

I have attached an xray and a picture of my finger

Thank you!

Tyvense and tiredness

I'm taking Tyvense 30mg for the last 2 months. I'm taking it on days only that I need it, mostly Monday - Friday. I take it at 7:30am when I wake up, but I struggle getting to sleep. I have been taking melatonin 5mg to help me get to sleep on days that I take Tyvense.

The tiredness on weekends is killing me. I go to sleep at a reasonable hour (10:30/11:00pm) and wake up around 9. Then I'm going back for naps during the day on Saturday.

Is anyone else in this situation? What has helped you?

Sincerely, a really tired girl.
