Anyone using Tickertape for US stocks with a Kotak 811 account? What are the INR → USD conversion charges and other bank fees?

Hi everyone,

I'm planning to start investing in US stocks through the Tickertape app, and I'm considering linking my Kotak 811 savings account for funding my investments.

I have a few questions for anyone who has experience with this setup:

  • What charges are applied when converting INR to USD?
  • Does Kotak Bank charge any forex markup or currency conversion fee?
  • Are there any outward remittance charges, GST, SWIFT fees, or other hidden bank charges?
  • Is there a minimum transfer amount or any fixed fee per transaction?
  • Have you found the overall charges reasonable, or would you recommend another bank or platform for investing in US stocks?

I'd really appreciate it if you could share your actual experience, including an example of how much you transferred and the total charges deducted.

Thanks in advance!

[0 YoE, Student, AI/ML/DS Intern, what India]

Hey everyone,

I’m a student currently targeting AI / ML / Data Science internship roles and I’d really appreciate some resume feedback.

The main thing I want help with is the wording and phrasing of my resume bullets and section descriptions. I feel like a lot of my points are technically correct, but the sentences themselves could be written much better and sound more polished/impactful.

I’m mainly looking for feedback on:

  • how I phrase project/work bullets
  • wording improvements
  • sentence clarity and readability
  • making achievements sound stronger without sounding exaggerated

Targeting internships across startups as well as larger product/Fortune 500 companies.

Here's my resume:

Thanks in advance!

I built an AI to play the classic Google Chrome Dino—and it's scary easy!

Hi fellas,

I built a small weekend project where I recreated the Chrome Dino game—but with no player (It's AI).

The AI decides when to jump based on the distance to the cactus. It starts off making random decisions, but every time it fails, that data is added back and the model is retrained—so it gradually improves over time.

Here’s a short gameplay demo:

If you want to explore how it works under the hood, I’ve written a quick 3-minute Medium post where I explain the implementation with simple visuals and diagrams:
Check the detailed breakdown here 👉 AI that plays Chrome Dino when offline

The full source code is available on GitHub 👉 RohitMugalya/Chrome-Dino-AI

I’d love to hear your thoughts, suggestions for improvements or future work, or ideas for other games I could build AI to play.
