My daughter received a Betta in a bowl as a birthday gift, we’ve named him David Bowlie, but I knew he couldn’t be in a bowl (but the name stays). That sent me in a spiral (rabbit hole) that led to building my first tank, in an enclosed living room cabinet (I regret it every time I need to do something in the tank, but it looks great). It’s currently cycling, should add some shrimps, snails,amber tetras and Pygmy corydoras, after the cycle hope it’s a good home for him. Also added David him self in his current tank that I bought the day he came in the bowl (I know it’s full of pellets) the tank is cycled and with 2 snails and some plants, he looks happy. When he moves will convert it into a shrimp tank.
