I’ve been able to get help through a local church here where I live, but I’m still short $300 for my rent for October. Because it’s already past the 3rd, it’s considered late so I’m having to pay a $95 late fee. So that added to what’s left is $300. Really anything helps you guys.
We’ve had two donations so far, and those really helped! Honestly any amount can add up and help me and my daughter. Even the smallest donations count. It all adds up and helps go towards things we need. An update on our lives: I had an interview today for a remote position, I think it went well and while I’m excited, I know not to get my hopes up. Remote positions are especially hard to get because they are so sought after. But I’m hopeful! I’m also working with a case worker from my local clinic to get rides set up for our appointments, so that really helps with some of our transportation needs. Being in this situation is not ideal, but it is temporary. And right now I’m just asking for a little help until I’m able to get back on my feet. Thank you everyone 🤍
