Can you defeat a boss without the recommended power?
To me it seems scripted, but having the term "recommended" there if it was required would just be stupid. Is it just down to luck and I haven't struck any?

Why can't I get Flim?
After getting the points for Flim from the crystal mine, it said "you can now buy Flim from the store!" But when I go to the store to look at him it still tells me to play the game. Is this a glitch or am I doing something wrong?
